I'm a little disappointed with the maintenance of the trails on this side of the county line I realize that there hasn't been much snow this year but in the last week I have been out a few times and if the groomer would have been out most of the main trails such as the 101 and Brian's trail would have been excellent going I went through to the county line on Sunday and on the other side of the #12 it was groomed and I have never seen it so good our trails could have been almost as good if they were looked after I bought my trail pass as an early bird as I do every year we pay a lot of money for them for what we get i know that other province s pay more but they also have way better sledding I can't afford to go away on a sledding trip so I expect that when our trails are able to be groomed they should be your only talking one day of running the groomer which is not too much to ask the 4 wheelers made a mess of most of the trails but if the groomer ran over them they would be fine and if they would have been groomed before we got that cold weather last weekend they would hold up as we are going get a little more snow this week instead of having these big wasteful banquets that every permit buyer hates and thinks that they are wasting our money put it to the trails when trees are down or debris when I am snowmobiling I take the time to remove it so I try to do my part as well I guess I am a little pissed I don't expect miracles but the trails could be groomed and we could have a week or two of decent sleeding

There is a lot of snow back there sledders. The trails took a good beating this weekend in the warm weather. Now let's pray it gets cold so the snow hardens up so the groomers will have something to bite into to get up the steep hills.
******CAUTION*******When leaving from the club house please watch your self and be respectful to others on the road or trails. We have a small section of plowed road with vechiles/ active loggers, walkers and cross country skiers. We are thankful they let us use their land, I don't want to have to do damage control as nothing has happened I am just making sure you are all aware. We must keep ourselves safe and the others around us.

It was a rough couple of days for the crew busting the drifts and trying to level out the trail. The Falmouth John Deer bob tailed to the Falmouth bridge and back busting the massive drifts, via the 101.
On Friday the groomer made a pass to the mines bridge and back to clean up the bob tail tracks from Thursdays trip, via the 101.
Saturday the groomer was out and attempted to climb the Mines Mountain, but due to the sheer depth of the snow, the groomer could not catch enough traction to climb the slippery steep Mines Mountain.
Sleds need to get out and widen and break the trail for the groomer. That snow the groomer was stuck in on Saturday is up past my belt and i tell ya ol'Jonny 5400 doesn't have heated seats. *****WARNING**********Broke down Porter Log Loader on the trail at knicker's corner use caution as it takes up majority of the trail.
****NO RUBBER NECKIN**** you might get stuck in a drift.
--------FUN RUN----------Sunday we are having a fun run at the club house. All of the trails need to be driven on, widened out and beat down so the frost will get drove into the snow so the groomers will be able to grab some traction and get up the Mountains. Show up to the club house, grab some buddies or tag along with some friends and go adventure the trails as if you were on riding on the huge amount of snow you always dreamed about! Well Folks it's not a dream there's 3+ ft of powder in Hants county.

We need the sleds help when it comes to getting the trails ready after this big snowfall, when there is this much powder the groomers are unable to get going let alone make it up the hills.
- Falmouth JD is headed out today grooming from the clubhouse to the Mines Bridge, then need sleds to conquer the powder on the trails from there on out so the groomer can continue on.
- Wallaback Gilbert is headed out today to take on their fresh snow.
